Our Installation Process

We believe in transparency. Here is exactly what you can expect when you hire South Valley Flooring.

1. The Consultation & Estimate

It starts with a free on-site consultation. We don't just measure the room; we assess the subfloor conditions, check door clearances, and inspect transition points.

You receive a detailed, itemized quote with no hidden fees. We explain the material costs, labor, and disposal fees upfront.

2. Material Selection & Acclimation

Once you approve the quote, we order your materials. Crucially, we deliver the flooring to your home days before installation.

This "acclimation period" allows the wood or vinyl to adjust to your home's temperature and humidity, preventing future warping or gapping.

3. Demolition & Prep

We remove your old flooring and haul it away. Then, the real work begins. We scrape, sand, and level the subfloor.

If we find any issues like water damage or loose subflooring, we address them immediately to ensure a solid foundation for your new floor.

4. Installation

Our expert installers lay the floor according to industry best practices. We undercut door jambs for a seamless look and stagger planks for maximum stability and aesthetic appeal.

5. Detailed Finish Work

We install baseboards, shoe molding, and transition strips. We caulk gaps, touch up paint where needed, and ensure every edge is crisp and professional.
